These thunderbird earrings are inspired by the beautiful jewellery of the Navajo Indians. 
They are made of 100% recycled sterling silver and have been oxidized so that the hand stamped t-birds stand out against the shiney background. 
The t-birds measure 1.3 x 1.5 cm and the earrings have a 3 cm drop including hook. 

The symbol of the thunderbird originated in Native American mythology. The T-bird's enormous, flapping wings were thought to cause claps of  thunder and their eyes flashed lightning.
Have a pair of these powerful, protective spirits watch over you, but watch what you do as they can be vengeful too!

All our jewellery is handcrafted in our small studio in Devon using traditional tools and techniques.
